Pearls are found inside a living creature, an oyster. Pearls are the result of a biological process -- the oyster's way of protecting itself from foreign substances. When a parasite or a grain of sand comes in contact with the inner part of the oyster, the oyster reacts. It coats the irritant over and over again with a "pearly" substance. Here in lies the birth of a natural pearl.
The formation of a natural pearl begins when a foreign substance slips into the oyster between the mantle and the shell, which irritates the mantle. It's kind of like the oyster getting a splinter. The oyster's natural reaction is to cover up that irritant to protect itself. The mantle covers the irritant with layers of the same nacre substance that is used to create the shell. This eventually forms a pearl. So a pearl is a foreign substance covered with layers of nacre.
We are the grain of sand who enter in a process to become a beautiful pearl. We live situations that make us be in a process where God will use to transform us in better and loving persons. The finished process, a well rounded and shiny pearl! How wonderful is our God that no matter the behavior we show, He will do what ever to give us everything, to make us perfect, to make us holy.
So no matter the situation you are living, know that is for a reason. Ask God what for you are living it and relax, to knowledge it will set you free. Obedience is the key to succeed. I want to see you shinning! Rejoice God is with you, even though you could think He have abandon you, He have not, He is right there for you giving you strenght to persue and to overcome the process.
Mat 28:20 teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the world. Amen.

Hindrances to full assurance in God
Doubt and unbelieve
Mar 11:22 And answering Jesus said to them, Have faith of God. 23 For truly I say to you that whoever shall say to this mountain, Be moved and be cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he said shall occur, he shall have whatever he said. 24 Therefore I say to you, All things, whatever you ask, praying, believe that you shall receive them, and it will be to you.
Lack of forgiving spirit
Mar 11:25 And when you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive it so that also your Father in Heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in Heaven forgive your trespasses.
Luke warmness
Rev 3:15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I would that you were cold or hot. 16 So because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
Grieving the Holy Spirit
Eph 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you are sealed until the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and tumult and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
Being robbed by the devil
Joh 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Failure to do the will of God
Luk 12:47 And that servant who knew his lord's will and did not prepare, nor did according to His will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he not knowing, and doing things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For to whomever much is given, of him much shall be required. And to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
Wrong companionship
Pro 4:14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not into the way of evil.
Willfull sin
Heb 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. 26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful looking for judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He who despised Moses' Law died without mercy on the word of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy of punishment, the one who has trampled the Son of God, and who has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
Disobedience
Heb 5:8 though being a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. 9 And being perfected, He became the Author of eternal salvation to all those who obey Him,
